Lewis & Cooper make FOTF their charity of the year

We’re thrilled to announce that Northallerton’s specialist gourmet food and wine store, Lewis & Cooper, have made us their charity of the year and will be fundraising for us over the next 12 months.

An institution on Northallerton’s high street, they opened their doors a mere 126 years ago back in 1899! They stock an impressive range of fine food, cheeses and wine and also have an upstairs tea room serving local delicacies and produce.

Lewis & Cooper recently got in touch to let us know that they wanted to support our Eye Appeal. While we are over the moon to have reached our £200,000 target, we know that there are local businesses who pledged to support the appeal throughout 2025, and we're delighted that we still have money coming in from fundraisers across the area! Friends of the Friarage guarantee that every penny raised in the name of the eye appeal will go to the eye department in the Friarage.
